I am a teenager 14 or older. How do I use the site and its services?
(1) Click the Teens Register Here button.
(2) Complete and save a self-profile.
(3) Check out our RESOURCES area for important information about youth employment from the U.S. Department of Labor and other articles and services.
(4) Search the job openings by category and/or location, and when you find job openings you'd like to apply for, follow the instructions noted in the job ad,
(5) Sign up for our NOTIFY service if there are no jobs returned in you area. Jobs are posted 24/7 and when one is available in your area, we will send an email notification to the email address on your profile.

I am 13 or younger. Can I still use the Teens4Hire.org site and its services?
No, you must be 14 years of age or older to use this site and its services.

I'm 14 years old but not in high school. Can I still use your site?
Yes. You don't have to be in high school. Use of the site is determined by your age. Enter NONE in the high school field.

Is the site FREE to teens?
Yes. All the services of the site are FREE to jobseekers. This site caters to 14-21 year olds actively looking for a job. If you are 22 or older, there are a number of sites on the Internet to meet your needs.

The profile asks for my email address but I don't have one. What should I do?
You can get a free email account from many places including Yahoo and Hotmail.

Why do you need an email address?
You must provide an email address because all site contact is made via email.

Will you sell my email address or other personal information?
NO. Teens4Hire.org has a VERY strict privacy policy. Click here for details.

Who will have access to my personal profile information?
Only Teens4Hire.org and the employers you choose. NO ONE is provided random access to our profile database. Only employers who post jobs on the site have the potential for receiving your profile, if you choose to forward it in response to their job ad.

Do I have to register to search jobs?
Yes, you must be 14 years of age or older to use this site and you MUST register before you can search the jobs database. You register by creating and saving a self-profile that you can forward to employers.

I did a job search but there are no jobs listed for my area. What's up?
We appreciate your question and share your concerns. Everyday we contact hundreds of employers and ask them to advertise their jobs for teens on Teens4Hire. We have teen volunteers in every major U.S. city contacting employers to post jobs that teens could fill.

As time goes on, we're confident that we can get more employers to advertise because there are a lot of you looking for a job. In the meantime, sign up for our NOTIFY service and we'll let you know when we have jobs in your area.

I registered and created a profile but now I can't log back in. What do I do?
Check that you entered the EXACT email address and password you put on your registration profile. If you have forgotten your password, you can request that it be sent to the email address you entered on your registration profile. If you provided an invalid email address, then we have no way of contacting you. The system periodically checks for invalid email addresses. If found, the profiles are automatically deleted. This is considered an abuse of the site.

I made an account and a profile and received a confirmation email, but when I try to login, it tells me that I must be logged in to view the requested page.
You can't search jobs without logging in. You have to LOGIN on the home page at www.teens4hire.org with the EXACT email address and password you put on your profile. The system will welcome you back and then you can search for jobs. If there are no jobs in your area today, sign up for our NOTIFY feature and we'll send you an email when jobs are posted in your area.

How do I update my profile?
When you login there is a button on the left that let's you edit your profile. Don't forget to SAVE it after you update or edit it.

I forgot my password. What do I do?
Click here to retrieve your email address, and we will send it to the email address on your registration profile.

I made an account registration profile and received a confirmation email, but when I try to login, it tells me that my account does not exist. What's up?
To keep your membership in force, please login at least once every six months. Member accounts that have been inactive for more than 6 months will be automatically deleted. At this point, you will need to register again.

How do I delete my registration profile?
Send your request to info@teens4hire.org.
